John has been a communicant of St. Mark’s Cathedral since August 1967. After thirty-five years within the banking industry, in June of 2010, he perceived a calling to share his knowledge of the Cathedral by accepting an invitation as a full-time staff member. John's responsibilities include the maintenance of the Cathedral and for coordination of its various ministries. Dalton is a
native of New Orleans and moved to Shreveport in 2005 after Katrina devastated
the City. He has been employed as Sexton
of the Cathedral since 2007. He is,
primarily, responsibility for maintaining the Cathedral, supporting the
Wednesday Night Dinners, and covering the various weekend activities.
Calvin has been an employee of the Cathedral/Cathedral School since 1986. As the custodian of the Cathedral School, Calvin is , primarily, responsible for maintaining the School facility and for supporting its mission. Despite his numerous duties, a good portion of Calvin's day is spent enabling the Cathedral staff complete their various tasks.
Ora is a native of Red River Parish and has been an employee of the Cathedral for 33 years. She became a full-time employee 4 1/2 years ago and is responsible for maintaining the Cathedral linens, Cathedral housekeeping, and overseeing the contracted night crew.
